Solvent Trap Co.’s efforts span to how our products are constructed and in communications with customers or prospective customers, to the detailed product descriptions- Thus, Solvent Trap Co., Inc. cannot be held legally liable for misuse or modification of its products. These products are produced and sold with the intent to be used as cleaning products for filtering and trapping purposes, as storage devices for storing and transporting various types of oils and solvents, and as misfire safety systems to provide a layer of protection during firearm transport and/or storage in the case of a misfire.

While browsing our website, you will notice we do not sell Jig Kits and other related accessories, as we only sell firearm cleaning and storage kits. Solvent Trap Co. will give no recommendations outside of the scope of the recommended use of its products, which is for firearms cleaning, transport, storage and safety. Each product includes product instructions that are located on our product pages and included in your final order confirmation email. You agree you understand everything mentioned on our websites Terms & Conditions, and agree that you understand important legal details in the our Legal area.

We Encourage everyone to review the instructions available for the products you ordered on their respective product pages. Our team will reference our Q&A, product instructions, and other website resources to help customers with product use. If we receive inquiries on third-party items, or inquiries that are not relevant to our site resources, product instructions, or Q&A, they may be ignored due to product liability.

MUZZLE EXTENSION DEVICES:

Those interested in purchasing a Muzzle Extension Device from Solvent Trap Co., must agree and read the notice prior to purchasing Muzzle Devices from our websites. Customers may purchase muzzle devices for aesthetics and to adapt to items that were purchased elsewhere – while other customers purchase these muzzle devices due to the additional thread patterns available on these devices, serving as a “barrel extension” on popular browning style pistols, such as Glock, so the guide rod clears the base of the solvent trap.

Our current offering of thread mounts that are included with our solvent trap kits and also sold individually are 1/2×28″ and 5/8×24″. Many of our Muzzle Extension Devices are offered with additional thread patterns, such as .578×24″ and 9/16×28″, allowing our solvent trap cleaning systems to adapt to barrels that require additional thread patterns, such as most .45 ACP pistols.

As mentioned above, some browning style action guns, such as Glocks, need a Muzzle Extension Device for our solvent traps to work properly because of the guide rod that protrudes from the front of these pistols when the slide is charged or put into battery. The bottom of the solvent trap cleaning system blocks the guide rod from moving out completely, which in turn blocks the firearm slide from moving backwards into an open and locked position.

Therefore, the Muzzle Extension Device acts as an extension so the slide can fully “rack”, allowing barrel snakes, cleaning rods and solvents the necessary room fit through the ejection port area and into the barrel for cleaning

Our Muzzle Devices are shipped separately, and with their own tracking numbers, so there is no confusion as to Solvent Trap Co.’s intent, view or position on the recommended use of its Muzzle Extension Devices. By accessing our site and/or purchasing products from our site, you agree to our Terms and Conditions and understand these details, and you agree that it is your responsibility to purchase these independently sold items only to be used legally and on legal devices.

IF MORE THAN 15 DAYS HAVE PASSED (16 OR MORE) SINCE THE ITEM WAS DELIVERED, UNFORTUNATELY WE CAN’T PROCCESS YOUR RETURN REQUEST OR OFFER YOU A REFUND OR EXCHANGE. RETURN LABELS ARE ONLY PROVIDED BY SOLVENT TRAP CO. WITH SIGNATURE CONFIRMATION ADDED. THIS IS TO REDUCE REFUND/RETURN FRAUD AND TO PROTECT OUR CUSTOMERS FROM UNFORTUNATE CIRCUMSTANCES SUCH AS MISSING, LOST OR STOLEN ITEMS. RETURN LABELS WITH SIGNATURE CONFIRMATION INCREASES SUCCESSFUL RETURN RATES AND CUSTOMER SATISFACTION.

1. SOLVENT TRAP CO. WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR RETURN SHIPPING COSTS IF THE FAULT REST ON SOLVENT TRAP CO..

4. CUSTOMERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE RETURN SHIPPING COSTS IF THE CUSTOMER NO LONGER DESIRES THE PRODUCT POST PROCESSING, ONCE THE ORDER IS IN POSSESSION OF THE SHIPPING PROVIDER. IN THIS CASE, THE CUSTOMER IS TO AWAIT FOR THE ITEM TO BE DELIVERED PRIOR TO PROCESSING A RETURN FOR REFUND REQUEST. THE COST OF THE RETURN LABEL WILL BE DEDUCTED FROM THE TOTAL REFUND AMOUNT.

Any cause of action or claim you may have with respect to this website must be commenced within one (1) year after the claim or cause of action arises.
